Hi, I’m Foysal.
Call me Planck.

I’m from Rangpur. I moved to Dhaka to attend Notre Dame College, and living on my own made the city an education of its own.

My interests have rarely arrived one at a time. A book can lead me to a question; an everyday frustration can turn into a software project. I’m interested in the point where an idea becomes something another person can use.

That has taken me into community work, engineering, research, and student organizations. The projects look different, but I keep returning to the same tasks: paying attention, figuring something out, and trying to make it work.

I read fiction and nonfiction, often on the e-ink reader whose firmware I’ve been extending. Haruki Murakami is a recurring presence on the reading list.

I also take photographs, draw, and work on visual identities. Photography is a way of paying attention to the ordinary things I might otherwise pass by.

Still in motion.

I’m continuing to build, write, and learn. This portfolio is a record of that work as it stands—finished things, developing things, and the questions behind them.
